The Very Next Day

We sit in the Air New Zealand lounge, ten minutes until boarding time. After the whirlwind of the last week (honestly, month or more), we spent the last three hours with a few things to finalize. But, mostly, we finally had the time to sit and reflect. And with our amazing wedding ceremony and reception having come to a raucous close, we are left with thoughts of all of you.

Thank you to Bob for hosting an amazing extravaganza of a party. Thank you to Pat, Barbara, Maly, and JJ for standing with us throughout. Thank you to our families–our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all relatives (blood or bond)–for being there to celebrate the union of souls you helped forge. Thank you to our friends, without whom we would have had too much food (and also the constant, unyielding emotional support you offer).

Thank you to those with whom we got to dance. Thank you to the ones we saw for a few minutes. And especially thank you to everyone who we didn’t quite have time to connect with for more than a quick hug, wave or good-night.

We could never have made it through the last few months, days and definitely not last night, without all of you. We will think of you all whilst traveling in New Zealand, Moorea and every day after.

We will be globetrotting for the next two weeks. But, you had better believe there are tons of photos and updates coming. And with all the pressure off, maybe Andy can get them up in a timely manner, ;-).

Vi ses snart!

Three Months Later…

(plus a few days) and we’ve made some huge progress on the site and by proxy the actual, you know, wedding planning. It’s great to see that some of you have already begun following the site by signing up for email updates, which will now be much more frequent. The website is going to be undergoing constant maintenance and updates from this point out, as the wedding is getting our constant and daily attention.

Though some of the sections have yet to be completed, all of the guest information for the actual day should be complete (unless you come across something we missed!). Take a peek through the webpage and get familiar. Cool details, even the photos of food options, have made their way up onto the internet for you.

For those of you who haven’t yet, scroll down to the bottom of the page and throw your email into the “Get Email Updates” box. You’ll get updates sent right to your inbox. And, feel free to leave page comments around the website, especially if you happen to have questions. We promise to be checking in constantly. And, if you have a question, you can be sure someone else does too. Or, maybe you’re feeling shy. There’s a fancy new contact form and you can submit with your question super-duper fast that way. (ps – if you just saw the food options and want to change your mind, that’s a great way to do it 😉 )

Thanks to everyone for their help up to this point. And, thanks in advance to all of you for your help in the future!

Super Glam.

We’ll see you all soon!

Exciting Times

Hi! Come in, the door’s unlocked! It’s Katie and Andy’s website!

You’re probably here ‘cuz you got our awesome and magnetic Save the Dates! We’re still building up the site and figuring out this whole “interweb” thing. It’ll be worth the wait though, we swear.

Some of you probably already know that November is nutty for the both of us: booked every weekend, lots of out of town travel, Thanksgiving, etc. But, don’t fear, all that sweet wedding information you want and lots of fun pictures are headed to the site in the next week or so.

Check back in often and, like us, just enjoy the ride.

Yes, they took a lot time to figure out how to make. :)

Final Save the Dates!
