We are going to New Zealand and Moorea (That’s in French Polynesia. You know, Tahiti, Bora Bora…). And, oh wow, is there ever an itinerary.

In New Zealand, we plan to spend a day or two exploring Auckland. Then, using a camper-van, we will explore the sights of the North Island: seeing Hobbiton, hiking through the amazing terrain, exploring the plentiful local markets, and traveling through their wine country.

From Auckland we will fly to Tahiti, take a cab, a boat and then a cab to arrive at the Hilton on Moorea Island. Moorea offers all the tropical trappings: bright sandy beaches and coral reefs. There is also a jungle to hike through and a small, accessible amount of local culture to explore. We will go snorkeling, touring, whale watching and have plenty of time for drinks at sunset.
